Animal Welfare

The welfare of our animals is our humane responsibility and a necessity for producing a quality product. We work closely with our farmers to make sure good production practices are maintained. Plant supervision monitors truck driver handling and unloading, and employee handing methods. We know that careful handling is our duty and it will also ensure a quality end product that is safe for consumption. Truckers have TQA training and are aware of accepted handling practices and restrictions. We regularly make corrections and updates to our in-plant animal welfare program.
